Hey, I’m Lee Solo. I'm a Māori artist and designer based in Gold Coast, Australia, and I'm probably too obsessed with mixing things up. I make everything from giant, moody self-portraits to plush weapons that look soft but pack a punch.

Maybe I sound like a bit of a head-ass, but I confidently believe I can take on any creative task I'm given. I'm kind of stubborn like that. It makes me feel good when I prove people wrong (Surprise, I'm human).

My brand Salem7 popularised as a clothing line back in 2017 but really it’s my little creative universe where all my weird, wonderful ideas hang out together.​

I’m all about blending feelings... Strength with softness, nostalgia with a splash of weirdness, and a whole lot of honesty.

I also do a lot of graphic design and content creation for brands who want a bit of personality. I'm a bit cheeky and I know what people like- realness. 

My art’s like a portal into my messy, beautiful brain, and I hope it makes you feel something real too.

Basically, I’m here to make stuff that matters, makes you think, and maybe makes you smile (or cringe) a bit.
